PRODUCT

Add Salt is a fashion jewelry subscription service. It’s fun to change up your jewelry and accessorize your outfits differently. Each month, we’ll send you between 4 to 5 pieces to wear and enjoy. At the end of the month, send them back to us to receive a new set, or, if you liked anything you wore, purchase it to make it a permanent part of your wardrobe!

Many of the pieces are designed by the co-founders of Add Salt, but our vision is to collaborate with different designers and brands so we can expand the joy of jewellery exponentially. Celebrated for our bold and unique designs, many of which are hand made in India, Add Salt is here to add a bit of flavour to your outfit.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate for allergies. However, we seek to choose products that are safe and lead-free for use by the majority of customers.

Our items are sterling silver, gold / silver plated and stainless steel, the highest quality we're able to offer.

+ Sterling silver jewellery is made up of 92.5% silver, and a small content composed of other metals such as copper.

+ Gold or silver plated jewellery is jewellery made of a base metal (e.g. copper) that has a layer of pure gold or silver applied to the top. Gold or silver plating can fade over time. By taking proper care of gold / silver -plated jewellery, you can extend its life and keep it bright and beautiful.

+ Stainless steel jewellery can't get scratched easily. They do not change their colour, do not rust and oxidise.

Each box contains between 4 to 5 pieces to wear and enjoy.

Our jewelry is not waterproof. Please take care of the jewelry well and try not to shower, swim or exercise with them on.

ORDER

We’re sorry, we cannot amend any part of your order (including the delivery address) once it has been submitted.

Once the email with confirmation of your order has been sent you will no longer be able to cancel your order.

Unfortunately items cannot be exchanged during the four weeks you keep the piece. But if you give us feedback on what pieces you particularly liked or not, we will try to tailor the next more closely to your preferences while trying to challenge you try to new pieces that you may not naturally try!

1. Put only the items that you don't wish to purchase in your Add Salt envelope.

2. Place your Add Salt envelope that came with, apply the pre-paid return label that's included inside your box, and drop it into your mailbox or at the Post Office.

3. Make sure to leave feedback on your feedback page! 

+ Please note that we charge a late fee of £25 for items not returned after six weeks and we charge full retail purchase price for items not returned after 8 weeks.

At Add Salt Studios we pay great attention to the quality of our products. If, however, despite all of the quality controls carried out, an item appears to be faulty, we ask kindly that you send a photo of the faulty item(s) to Add Salt Studios Customer Services team.

If the product is deemed to be faulty by our Customer Services team you have the choice of either, a full refund or an exchange (subject to availability)

+ You would like to exchange a faulty item : Make a request to return an item through your Add Salt Studios customer account, and request a free shipment label from our Customer Services team. Once the faulty or damaged article has been sent by you, we will send you a replacement.

+ You would like a full refund : Make a request to return an item through your Add Salt Studios customer account of via email, and request a free shipment label from our Customer Services team. We will refund you once the faulty or damaged article has been returned.

Absolutely! The minimum subscription period is for 3 months, but you can pause it and resume at your convenience. Whether you are renting during wedding season (so many weddings to attend at the same time!), traveling or want to take a break, we are happy to accommodate your needs. cannot be temporarily suspended at this time.

Please see the the Terms and Conditions on pausing and reactivating it at a later date.

Please note that Pay Upfront subscriptions (3, 4 or 6 months) cannot be cancelled once in progress.

ACCOUNT

On the menu click on « My account » (or click here) and enter your email address to register.
You can also create an account once you reach the checkout.

You are not required to create an account when placing an order on addsaltstudios.com. Your contact details, order status and history will be saved. You have the choice to register during checkout.

If your email address or password are not recognised: be sure to use the email address and password that you provided when you created the account. 

If you are unable to remember your password, click on «  Lost your password ? » on the login page. We’ll send you an email with a link that will allow you to create a new password for your account. If after this you still can’t sign in, contact our Customer Services team.

SHIPPING

Free delivery with Royal Mail UK Standard Delivery - 2nd Class. Delivered in 3-5 working days from day of dispatch, including Saturdays. Please note that during COVID-19 there may be longer delays in shipping time.

We ship Monday through Friday. You can expect your any order or your first subscription box to be shipped out within 5-7 business days. Orders placed on the weekend and select holidays will be processed on the next business day. Your second box will be sent out approximately one month after you have received your first.

We do not currently deliver to BFPO or PO Box addresses in the UK or internationally at this time.

Yes we do! However, there may be extra shipping charges for destinations outside of Europe.

You can change the shipping address in the address book of your Add Salt Studios account. Please be aware that you can no longer change the shipping address once your order has been placed and received by us.

REFUND

The Gift Card will be credited first, with any remaining balance being credited to the other method of payment used at the time of purchase. 

If you no longer have the Gift Card that was used to place the order, please contact Customer Care for further assistance.

Return any unwanted items, in their original condition, to us within 21 days of receipt by Royal Mail. Add Salt Studios are not responsible for covering returns postage fees - you can send your item back via a Standard Delivery Service but we do ask that you keep a copy of your postage receipt in the event that your box does not reach our warehouse.

If you have received a refund confirmation email but cannot see the funds in your account, the time taken for these funds to appear will depend on your bank or card issuer's processing times. If you have any concerns regarding the whereabouts of these funds, please contact your bank/card issuer for further information.

PAYMENT

We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, and other Debit cards.

You have 3 attempts to complete the payment for your order. If none of these attempts are successful your payment will be declined and you will be redirected to a page indicating that your payment has been declined. 

Your payment may be declined for different reasons: An incorrect entry of your personal bank details, the total cost of the order exceeds your balance etc. We advise you contact your bank to discover why your payment has been declined.

Once your order has been accepted and processed, and following authorisation from your bank, the money will be debited from your account.

The payment is 100% secure. All transactions which take place on www.addsaltstudios.com are secured by the Sherlock payment system of our partner Square. 

All the information exchanged in order to process the payment is encrypted by SSL. This data cannot be detected, intercepted or used by others. It is not stored on our computer systems either. 

When you are asked to enter your credit card number, you can verify that you are in a secure area thanks to a number of security features in your browser. You can easily identify these areas because of an address beginning with https and containing "secure.ogone.com", as well as a closed padlock or an unbroken key displayed at the bottom of the browser.

No banking information is stored on our website. Your bank details are entered directly on a secure server. The bank details that you give are encrypted on your personal computer, and will never circulate unencrypted around the web.
